[Premiere] AABO – These Sounds Fall Into My Mind
Residing from Oakland in the United States, AABO delivers a perfect rendition of The Bomb (These Sounds Fall Into My Mind) by The Bucketheads, (Kenny Dope) originally released in 1995 which charted in over 16 countries worldwide.
AABO gives us a taste of his own flavour to the remix with a trap and hip-hop twist with a beautiful piano infused middle 8 half way through. This is slightly different for Perfect Havoc but we love the classic use of the original sample in this one, so we couldn’t resist to premiere it!

Wolf Krew – Heart On Fire ft. Rebecca King
London-based Wolf Krew have revealed their first and landmark official release ‘Heart on Fire’, out now on Copenhagen-based label disco:wax. Featuring a floating topline from UK-based vocalist Rebecca King complementing Wolf Krew’s 90s influenced production style, ‘Heart on Fire’ proves an exemplary debut release and is out now via all digital retailers.
Bringing Scandinavian simplicity to a fusion of indie dance and classic house whilst retaining a state of the art production standard is no mean feat. ‘Heart on Fire’ thus touches on both the nostalgic and the contemporary with its definitively catchy and polished style. With a mesmeric chorus and finely tuned vocal detailing throughout, ‘Heart on Fire’ is set to take the airwaves by storm.
Remixes on the track come from both Wolf Krew and UK tech house king D Ramirez, who has stripped back the original and focused on a percussion based groove, adding classic acid elements to rival any nostalgia-tinged underground anthem. Wolf Krew’s own remix demonstrates their versatility with a bouncing bassline that indicates their innate ability to combine genres, giving us an exciting insight into what they may have in store next.
Wolf Krew’s unofficial remixes for the likes of Hozier, The Weekend, Snow Patrol, Duke Dumont and The Disciples have gained popularity across various music platforms with huge support from the likes of Don Diablo, EDX, Cedric Gervais, Moguai, and Amine Edge & Dance to name a few. As well as gaining radio plays on Capital Radio and Kiss FM in the UK and Slam FM in Holland, and with several forthcoming releases in the pipeline, Wolf Krew are looking at a breakout year in 2016.
[Premiere] Konstantin X Ayla Shatz – Paper
After ending the year with another 650,000 views, this time for his remix of The Chainsmokers’ smash ’Roses’, Konstantin’s momentum has continued into 2016 with the launch of his mix for Swim’s ’Next To Me’.
But everything will be ramped up to the next level with his debut single ’Release Yourself’. It’s a nuanced production that’s deceptively minimalist as thunderous bass echoes around its hazy atmospherics, while collaborator Ayla Shatz weaves in her dreamlike vocals.
Paper’ invites you to an experience inspired by elements of trap, cloud and pop music genres. A fresh, modern Nordic sound fronted by contemplative vocals by Ayla Shatz who delivers a stunning performance over this electrifying piece of work from Konstantin.
The lyrics are an insight into a young woman’s perspective of our day. ‘Paper’ expresses both hope and helplessness with free flowing vocal style and heartfelt expression. Strong but tender melodic vocals. Warm majestic beats and rhythms. Unique contemporary musical expression. That is ’Paper’.
’Paper’ is released digitally on Friday 11th of March.
Nabiha – Weapon (Tobtok Remix)
The original track by Danish superstar Nabiha is an unmistakable anthem and was almost itching for a remix. The platinum-selling pop star links up with producer on this one for the remix. Tobtok flipped the original pop track into a grooved-out soul cut, whilst the high synths take it into disco club territory. The funk fused rework hints at 90’s R&B nostalgia throughout and it’s golden.
