Patawawa is a musical trio born out of the ashes of funk, soul and disco. From a tiny attic in the sleepy town of Matlock, they create an original and infectious brand of Nu Disco that’s steadily making its way far beyond their home county. 2015 has seen Patawawa release a handful of successful singles resulting in Guardian’s Band of the Week feature, TV placements and a minor summer tour. Collaborating frequently with Parisian producer, Roman Kouder, their joint effort has culminated in a spectacular club-ready single entitled ‘Fly’, released via Believe Digital on their collaborative EP ‘Back to Life’.Fly finds itself remixed by Uppsala based and Perfect Havoc newcomer Ghassemi, who adds his funky nu-disco flavour to the original!Available as a free download here
